BREAKING NEWS: A system-wide power outage at our location necessitated the operation of a massive diesel generator directly outside our ground floor premises, producing unacceptable noise and air quality issues. Book Launch July 18Circle Tuesday, July 18 at 6:30 pm and, if you haven't done so already, RSVP now for the launch of The Letters: Postmark Prejudice in Black and White, a biographical novel by Sheila White on Yorkland Publishing. Attend in person or on Zoom to celebrate the remarkable story of two founding Don Heights Unitarians, Bill and Vivian White as told by their daughter. The book tells the story of their interracial marriage in 1947 and the controversy leading up to it. With both room and Zoom capacity limits, don't delay in letting us know you're coming.
Grow With Us
Germaine Kovary In order to grow, people need to know about us. We are beginning Path to Membership for those curious about Don Heights. In this one-night Zoom session, they will learn how wonderful the Unitarian religion is as a fulfilling faith, combining "the light of truth, the warmth of community and the fire of commitment". Our religion is guided by eight grounding principles of Unitarian Universalism. Who do you know that you could invite to this session? We've all had the curious questions. Here they get answers. Choir Event "Eat & Sing"Don Heights Singers invite you to our Potluck and Open Rehearsal on Thursday, September 14 at 18 Wynford where we will be sharing a meal at 5:30 pm in advance of our rehearsal and performance at 6:30. During the rehearsal, you can be a spectator with a bird's eye view or an active participant in singing along with us as we run through some of our favourite numbers from our self-penned book of songs. If coming for the potluck, bring something tasty to share. Open to everyone, this is a DHS outreach initiative.

The Common Table Farm is a not-for-profit, food growing operation sponsored by Flemingdon Park Ministry in Don Mills at 1 Laurentide Drive on the grounds of Church of Our Saviour. A seedling sale was held on June 3. What a treat it was to obtain starters of lettuce, beans, herbs, tomatoes, kale and more, knowing it was homegrown and proceeds go to a great cause.
